The South and Central Journalists Association (SOCJA) condemned killing journalists and ministers in Mogadishu.

Deadly suicide attack targeted to journalists government ministers and other high profile figures among Somali community at SHAMO Hotel in the capital Mogadishu to day was the worst ever happen to such these courageous people .

'' it is very sad and disastrous one killing such these very important people at once said Mohamed Nuxurkey president of South And Central Journalists Association (SOCJA).

we condemn this brutal action and we pray for the families lost their courageous journalists and who were our collogues and work share partners as well.

Journalist Mohamed Amiin Abdule a member of the South And Central Journalists Association (SOCJA) subsequently working as a reporter for Shabelle Radio station in the Capital of Mogadishu was killed in the incident,

Hasan Zubeyr a cameraman for Al-Arabiya TV also died in the suicide attack while other 3 more journalists were wounded in that incident.

Ministers in the government of Somalia were also killed in the attack.

No group had yet claimed the responsibility of the attack.
